Changes to Cooking Series Schedule

Japanese Cuisine on Jan. 12 is being replaced by Mexican Grocery Store Tour in the Cooking Series schedule.

Mexican Grocery Store Tour

Monday, Jan. 11, from 6-8:30 p.m.

Meet at Purdue Extension’s Learning Network to watch a “preview video” and receive an introduction to the event. Then, as a group (in the vehicles participants arrived in), we will visit Los Tres Hermanos to receive a bilingual tour of the produce, meats, spices, canned and dried foods available at a typical Mexican grocery. The event will culminate in a demonstration/sampling of different types of tacos prepared by chef Arturo at the in-store restaurant.
